NHS Scotland’s procurement services are delighted to again host the P4H Scotland event along with our partners BiP. This year’s theme is how NHSS’s buying behaviours can be a positive contributor to Scotland’s Health and Prosperity. I am really looking forward to hearing from our suppliers, our key note speakers, to share our plans and objectives and to experience again the buzz in the hall generated with great engagement with our supply base.
This event is one of the few opportunities where we can be health-specific in our conversations. This is the second year we’ve done it and I think it’s really, really important.
The exhibition looks first class and there’s a lot of really key suppliers there to engage with. There has always been a partnership between the procurement community and health.
What a success the whole event was.
The highlight of the event for us today has been getting in front of a few people and even if they are not directly the person we need to speak to, they know who the right person is and they are opening the door for us to get in front of them.
It’s been really important for us to sponsor P4H, it’s our first event as our new brand and is the perfect opportunity to showcase it here, in a very important marketplace for us.
I think it’s terrific. It doesn’t just help procurement and our colleagues, it helps all of us to understand everyone’s agenda and ultimately, I’m sure, it gives us a platform to work together.
The reason Medline were attracted to this event is that we are a key supplier for NHS Scotland and we feel like we are supporting what NSS are doing in the marketplace. To get access to all of the various individuals – category managers, distribution, operations, logistics, purchasing … Just to be able to further our relationships with all of these, at this one event.
P4H Scotland is an event we feel passionately about and we attend every year. We find that it’s the ideal place for us to meet all of our customers and any new prospects in the market. It’s also a great place for us to find out what’s going on, in terms of other suppliers into NHS Scotland.
