Murrayfield Stadium is located to the West of Edinburgh’s city centre.

It’s easy getting to Murrayfield. Not only is it a 30-minute walk from the west end of Princes Street, but it’s well served by busestrams and trains from all over the City and across Scotland, from the Airport, Park & Ride sites and local train stations.

Murrayfield Stadium is conveniently located to the West of Edinburgh City Centre and is served by strong national travel links.

Scottish Gas Murrayfield is approximately a 45-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre e.g. (Waverely Station). From Princes Street head onto Shandwick Place (A8) which leads on to Atholl Place, then onto Haymarket Terrace.

Continue on the A8 until Roseburn Street and turn left.

The nearest airport to Murrayfield Stadium is Edinburgh (EDI). Lothian Buses operates a bus from Airport to Ormidale Terrace every 10 minutes. Tickets cost £5 and the journey takes 16 min. Alternatively, you can take a train from Glasgow (GLA) to Murrayfield Stadium via Glasgow Central, Glasgow Queen Street, Haymarket, Haymarket, and Murrayfield Stadium in around 1h 24m.

Waverley Station is Edinburgh’s main railway station and the second biggest in Scotland, with services from all over Scotland the rest of the UK. It is situated right in the heart of the city and is a short bus, tram or taxi ride from Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

Situated at the west end of the city-centre, Haymarket Station serves the west of Scotland, Fife and the north. It is a 20/30-minute walk to Scottish Gas Murrayfield, or one stop on the tram.

Murrayfield Stadium, has its own dedicated tram stop right beside it, near Roseburn Street turnstiles. The tram stop is accessible via stairs or lift, with ticket machines at the bottom of the stairs.
